Day 19... Changed tutorials
I know am going on a loop of switching this is why banks and supermarkets hate me. I'll be honest thinking of going to Godot 3 (Godot 4 on my current hardware and no Lottery wins have occurred of more than £3, which was spent back into its system. Don't get me wrong Love ticks most of the boxes I require. But Godot has more stuff integrated and can be used straight out of the box. But am gonna persevere until something finally clicks in place, as it's still currently just coping code and seeing if I can make out stuff.
Just did DevJeeper - YouTube playlist: HOW TO MAKE GAMES - BEGINNER'S GUIDE (Using Love2D & Lua) - YouTube. And this will give you an indication of how old I am, that I fondly remember my abuleo coming home with this, in a sort of 25 games in one prehistoric grandmother of a console (which I still have in storage) with its paddle controllers. So I made pong and yes I encountered errors some most of them were my own fault and one particular error just told me that lines 5 and 23 were returning a nil value, which for the tutorial creator did not seem to happen as he was able to open the game, after much head scratching I just followed along and then when the ball.lua page was finalized it worked without issue. So yea like the old saying goes NPI in English I suppose it's NFI you get the gist and with that am going to do the final video which is adding assets later. (if anyone is reading this Thank you and sorry for wasting your time)
